How I got started
About Kelsey
When I embarked on this venture in November 2020, I never imagined it would grow into the business it is today.
I've always had a lifelong passion for creating and crafting. When I learned to sew in small workshops, I realized I had found my true calling—a way to channel my creativity into something both rewarding and challenging. Since that moment in 2015, I haven’t looked back.
In 2019, I graduated from LaSalle College with a degree in Technical Clothing Design. For years before I could sew, I dreamed of making bags but didn’t know how to achieve that goal. My education equipped me with the hands-on sewing skills necessary to pursue my passion for bag making. While working a daytime sewing job after graduation, I dedicated my evenings to developing my own designs. The turning point came when I created my first dog training treat bag. The positive feedback and interest encouraged me to start selling my bags. Just a few months later, I decided to pursue this dream full time.
This business is truly a dream come true. Each day, I look forward to entering my studio and sewing orders. I make every bag in my home studio in Kahnawà:ke, where I live with my partner, my pug, and my cats. I take great pride in my attention to detail, ensuring that every bag meets my high standards before it reaches you.
